There are several amenities within the village.
Reflections (Hairdressing Salon); The Village Store and Sub Post Office; Alexander's Plaice (Hot food takeaway); Doctors Surgery; Healing Royal British Legion Club, Healing Manor Hotel and Restaurant and the Healing Working Mens Club.
There is also a Village Nursery and Out of School Club which is based in the Methodist Chapel on Station Road and there are two busy Churches within the village, St. Peter and Paul and the Methodist Church.
Other outdoor amenities include the tennis courts and bowling green on Poplar Road Playing Fields, football and cricket pitches on the Royal British Legion Sports Field and the Moated Manor Field off Westwood Road which is a designated site of special interest and contains the remains of a 16th Century Moated Manor Settlement. There is also a smaller playground and park area on Fords Avenue and a small playground off Wisteria Drive, Healing.
There is also Healing Village Hall situated next to the Comprehensive School on Great Coates Road, Healing.
There are two very successful and popular schools - Healing School, A Specialist Science Acadmy and Healing Primary School. There is also a Children's Centre, administered by NELC, in the grounds of the Primary School.
