Healing Parish Council is made up of ten elected members and holds its meetings in the Village Hall, Poplar Road Park, Poplar Road, Healing.

The Parish Council usually meet at 7.30 pm on the second Tuesday of each   All of the meetings are open to the public and anyone wishing to attend will be warmly welcomed.

The Parish Council is responsible for the village hall, owning and managing the site. It is also responsible for maintenance of the parks in the Village on Poplar Road and Fords Avenue with both parks leased from NELC.  The Parish Council owns the Healing Moated Settlement Site which sits between the end of Lucas Court and the end of Clematis Avenue and is a local environmentally protected green space.  The Parish Council also owns Cornflower Copse at Cornflower Close and also land at the end of Quantock Gardens adjacent to Stallingborough Road.  Again, these are managed locally by the Parish Council.

The Parish Council also leases Porri's Wood from NELC and maintains that and also owns, on behalf of the village of Healing, the Cenotaph situated at the junction of The Avenue and Low Road.  An outdoor service is held here each year on Remembrance Sunday.

The Chairman of the Council and the Clerk are present at the Village Hall between 2 pm and 4 pm on the first Wednesday of each month for a public open session where anyone can turn up, without an appointment, and raise any issues etc.
